Lost in the Living

Oisín, ein Musiker aus Dublin, reist voller Abenteuerlust mit seiner Band nach Berlin. Er versucht, den Verlust seiner Mutter und die Wut auf seinen abwesenden Vater hinter sich zu lassen. In Berlin trifft Oisín die junge, hübsche Sabine, die ihm die geheimen Orte der Stadt, die nur die Berliner kennen, näherbringt: coole Parks, unbewohnte U-Bahnstationen und Seen auf dem Land, wo FKK noch möglich ist. Dieser Spaß endet aber bald im Chaos, als Sabine ihm offenbart, dass sie einen Freund hat und Oisín die Sinnlosigkeit seiner Situation langsam klar wird. Die Band ist weg, er fühlt sich einsam und allein, hat Heimweh nach dem grünen Irland und ist am Ende auch noch obdachlos und pleite. Er stürzt sich in die Dunkelheit, irrt durch das leere Berlin und findet sich schließlich auf der dunklen Seite wieder. Wird er sich retten können...? Oisín, a musician from Dublin, travels to Berlin with his band, buzzing with the potential for adventure. He leaves behind the weight of losing his mother and an anger towards his absent father. Oisín meets Sabine, a pretty young Berliner, who shows him the secret places that belong to the people who live in the city; hot parks, uninhabited stations, and lakes in the countryside where the free body culture is still active. These pleasures are thrown into chaos when Sabine reveals that she has a boyfriend and the futility of Oisín's situation dawns on him. His band have left, he's lonely, homesick, homeless and broke. He embraces the darkness, tumbles through the void and out the other side.
